Remember Who You Are
Being Awakened Means Remembering Who You Are
One thing I have learned on my spiritual journey is that being awakened does not mean you never struggle. It does not mean you have every answer or that your life suddenly looks exactly the way you want it to.
Sometimes, you feel connected to yourself, and you still have a hard day. You still get tired. You still wonder when the things you have been working toward will finally come together.
That does not erase your growth.
For me, awakening has been about remembering who I am underneath everything I was taught to be. Underneath the fear, the expectations, and the habit of looking outside myself for permission.
And once you begin to know yourself, you have to practice standing by yourself.
You can listen to others without letting their opinions become your identity. You can trust your intuition and still give yourself time to understand what you feel. You can change your mind without betraying yourself. Growing means allowing yourself to learn.
When your reality looks different from what you desire, please do not make that a reason to abandon yourself. A difficult moment does not get to decide your worth. A slow season does not mean your dreams no longer matter.
Keep showing up. Take the next step you can actually take. Rest when you need to. Return to the things that help you hear yourself clearly. Sometimes, moving forward looks like creating something. Sometimes, it looks like setting a boundary. Sometimes, it is simply trying again tomorrow.

You do not have to prove how spiritual you are by pretending everything is beautiful when it hurts. Be honest with yourself. You can believe in your future while caring for the life you are living today.
I keep coming back to this: I am allowed to trust myself. I am allowed to want more. And I am allowed to build a life that feels like mine.
Remember who you are. Then let the way you live become an expression of that.
With Love,
✨Marlene Ivette✨
